Oomph! is an environmentally aware stationery line sourced from sustainable materials and produced through sustainable practices. With an increased urgency to alter the way in which we live, Oomph! encourages the consumer to consider their current lifestyles in order to become actively aware of their personal impact on the environment. All Oomph! products feature patterns that have been hand made using objects found around the home that may have otherwise been sent to landfill.
The featured works are apart of a brand refresh for the Penrith Regional Gallery and Lewers Bequest. The gallery is an inviting, organic and comforting place to visit, and all brand materials reflect this easy going nature. Conducted as a team, the brand refresh successfully reinvigorates, reinspires and rediscovers the treasure that is Penrith Regional Gallery.
I was responsible for all illustrative materials involved within the refresh. The postcards featured were created for promotional purposes and serve as an original and inventive addition to the branding. In utilizing the colour scheme inspired by Margo Lewers original works, they add a new dimension to the versatility of the photography dominant elements featured within the branding and successfully paid homage to the history of the gallery.
b.tan product photography
During my time with The Defectors, I have been part of a team involved in product photography and content creation for btan’s social media. One of my favourite shoots required a monochrome approach with fun lighting and references to coconuts.
Created as part of a team Contour is a visual and written narrative exploration of the themes and ideals conveyed in Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. As an art director I was responsible for managing the project as a whole. I was also required to produce my own visual and written piece. I hand made 22 quotes from Frankenstein to accompany these pieces. Contour can be viewed online here:
